Games and iCloud
Check in PlayCount Settings that iCloud backup is active. iCloud keeps games and profiles across devices using the same Apple Account. Sharing a game between different accounts uses Game Center and the PlayCount sharing service.
Game Center and friends
Sign in to Game Center in Apple Settings, then reopen PlayCount. Associate your own player profile with that account. Each participant must have linked their own profile and use PlayCount. Access to Game Center friends is needed for friend selection; link and QR invitations do not require friendship.
Sharing and invitations
Link the other player's profile to their Game Center friend identity, then include that profile in a new game. On the other device, open PlayCount and accept the invitation. Updates are retrieved automatically while the app is in use. If needed, use Settings → Account and sharing → Sync games. If a conflict appears, choose which revision to keep rather than recreating the game.
Link and QR invitations
The creator can open the QR button in an active game and share a 24-hour invitation for a selected player. On the other device, use Home → Join to paste the link or scan its QR code, sign in to Game Center and confirm joining. Share the link only with the intended person. The creator can revoke it.
Report a problem
Please include the device model, iOS/iPadOS version, PlayCount version, game and steps that reproduce the problem. For sharing issues, indicate whether Game Center is signed in. Never send a password or private authentication information.
Delete shared data
Open Settings → Account and sharing → Delete my shared data. This removes your identity and access on the sharing service and anonymizes your profile in games retained by other participants. It does not delete local or iCloud data or your Game Center account.
